Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo Galilei and Tullio Levi-Civita are only a few in a long list of importnt people related to the University of Padua, which is one of the oldest in the world and was founded 1222. The DFA hosted a talk given by Tim Maudlin, who illuminated some problems between quantum theory and the theory of relativity.
